trapped..

i think parents need to give their children the right amount of support and encouragement..
dad's very quiet..he doesn't give much comments..
on the other hand, mum only knows how to criticize..and she never gives constructive feedback..
she says things like "you are like that.. no wonder u can't find a bf"..
"the clothes you buy are very ugly..look at your sis"
"ur eyes are uglier after lasik"
"other people also teacher, you also teacher. why do you work so much harder than others?"
"why can't you seem to handle the stress like others?"
" people teach piano can earn $3K plus a month..how about u?"

it hurts each time she says things about me..cos whatever i do never seems right..

sigh.. i decided that i shall tell her less things.. things that i tell her somehow became tools for her to hurl negative and sarcastic remarks at me..

its kinda tiring.. i want to break off from this demoralising environment..
but im trapped here..
